Simon Inglis has lived in West Hampstead since 1984 and is the author of over a dozen books on sporting history, architecture and heritage. ‘Played in London’ has been long-listed for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year award and has so far received rave reviews in The Times and The Guardian. The Daily Telegraph once described Simon as ‘a living national treasure’ who ‘must be encouraged at all costs’.
