You may well think the Jester Festival is all about the children but there will be a load of good bands performing; turning it into our own mini music festival. Sunday features local favourite Tanya Cristina and authentic Chicago-blues band Big Joe Lewis. The day will finished off with a bang at 4.45pm with folk/punk band The Penny Black Remedy who recently supported Nottingham’s edgy The Sleaford Mods and are known for their forceful, life-affirming live performances. Check out their songs from their 2013 album ‘Inhall….Exhal… OK, Now You Can Panic!’ – should be just right for a sunny Sunday afternoon on the grass. Full programme for the weekend is here.
