Legible London signs aren’t perfectly placed — 2 Comments

  1. These stand alone signs are a terrible idea, yet more clutter clogging up our footpaths. It seems that any piece of open space, however small, must be filled up with something. Surely these signs could be incorporated into existing structures, the one at the farmers’ market could have been erected against the wall on the corner and the one near Caffè Nero could have been attached to the nearby bus shelter.

  2. You missed the most moronic ones – the ones that are simply Legible London logos embedded in the ground, with no directional arrows! I think there's one in Kilburn in the pavement over the train bridge, opposite KHR station. I'm pretty sure they're just subliminal messaging / a way to spunk a budget.
