I think the reason there aren’t any notes on the desert from Tom’s table are because after his first taste of the Chocolate and Berry Tart he commented that he loved the way the berries ran through the chocolate rather than just being on the side. At this point his eyes glazed over and he appeared to be transported to a parallel heavenly universe. PS I had the cheeseboard and although two of the cheeses were a little too similar the Epoisses de Bourgogne more than made up for it. A great evening all round – thanks to Jonathan for organising and Tom for hosting

    • It wasn't just the taste and texture of that chocolate and redcurrant tart, it was portion size! Glad you enjoyed the evening, Tony!
