London Elects: Groundhog Day? — 2 Comments

  1. Nice summary.
Also worth mentioning that you have 2 votes for the GLA – the constituency one and the london-wide one.

The constituency vote works by standard FPTP. Brent and Harrow is a lab/con marginal – having been both in past elections. Currently lab – just.

You also get a vote for the top-up members. That’s the orange paper. These seats are allocated proportionally so here the minority parties have a real chance – eg the greens got 2 seats last time through the topup seats.

    Lots to think about!
