What have I missed since July 2nd?
Andy Murray lost, but Kilburn’s Bradley Wiggins assumed the yellow jersey in the Tour de France, so, y’know every cloud… well, every cloud seems to be passing over West Hampstead.
It’s been a quiet week of local news though, so this won’t take long.
The Ham & High reported how a local child can’t get a school place in the area. There is a petition to sign to try and get a new primary school in NW6.
Oliver Bonas and Paperchase are apparently moving into the O2 centre.

A new programme of activities for the over 50s begins at West Hampstead Community Centre: a dance class every Thursday (6.30-8pm) starting on 19th July (excluding 2nd & 9th August); and a series of monthly health sessions on Thursdays from 11am-1pm starting August 2nd.

Thursday 2-7pm, West Hampstead Synagogue: Camden wants to speak to local residents and businesses about their views on specific transport-related issues in the area. What do you think would improve the streets and traffic in the area? It’s a drop-in session.
