Whampforum: The people speak — 2 Comments

  1. Hi Jonathan, thanks for this very detailed write up and providing all this information. Just to reiterate, the Neighbourhood Development Forum wants to hear the views of all people living in the area on these issues – so please let us know!

  2. Parking is a key concern where any new development is considered. Camden thinks because we have good transport links in WH, people don’t need cars – but then do nothing to stop new residents getting parking permits. Before long, we’re likely to be in a position where people are scared to use their cars because they won’t be able to find a parking place when they come home – at any time of day or night. Either Camden has to allow provision for residents’ car parks in new developments or insist that all purchasers/lessees of new houses/flats understand that no parking permits will be provided for people at that address. Do they want us to park on top of each other?!

If I didn’t need my car to deliver my magazine and to visit allotments which are not always close to public transport, I would get rid of it.
