Welcome to Tom’s Diner – our collection of West Hampstead restaurant reviews written by Tom or Jonathan. Tom is our local gourmand, with a healthy appetite for red wine and strong views about how salads should be dressed. Above all, he believes fervently that prawns should be treated with respect. Jonathan, who organises local restaurant meet-ups, veers inexorably towards Sicilian wines when he sees them (and just veers after having drunk them) but refuses point blank to eat beetroot.
